Adam is a sweet, goofy, and loving dog with a personality that will steal your heart! He’s looking for a home with an experienced handler who can teach him some leash manners and help him become the best companion he can be.

While he’s generally great on a leash, Adam’s curiosity and excitement take over when he spots a potential new friend! He loves making introductions, so he’ll need someone to guide him and continue his training on proper leash etiquette.

This big-hearted boy loves to play ball and has an infectious, playful spirit. Adam is also house trained and crate trained, making him a great addition to any home. He’s a fan of stuffed toys and, when he’s not playing, he’s happy to snuggle up with you. He adores kids, but due to his size and exuberance, older children may be a better fit for him.

Adam has had a rough start to life, and he deserves nothing but the best in his forever home. He will need to be fed separately if there are other dogs in the household, as he’s had to struggle for his meals in the past. To avoid any issues, we recommend scheduled feeding times and separation. Many dogs from rough backgrounds like Adam have resource guarding tendencies, but with patience and support, he’ll thrive.
